During what's been labeled as the "COVID Period" seems like someone was taking notes from the movie "Contagion" and decided to implement them in real life. When this pandemic first happened my thoughts were:
1. Why is this happening?
2. Why did it take so long for us to be told to take precautions?
I initially went to my beliefs as it relates to God and the scripture that talks about the end times and what that is supposed to look like but states in Matthew 24:36 (NIV) reads "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father". Then my mind went to man-made diseases and viruses and how that has been prevalent for decades (ie. Tuskegee Experiment).
Some of you may not know that I have a background in Pharmacy. I studied at Howard University College of Pharmacy; worked at a retail, hospital and home health care and learned a lot as it relates to diseases, viruses, medications and cures. I decided not to continue to pursue this field of study for my own personal reasons (will talk about on another one of my blogs) but let me just say it goes so deep down the rabbit hole when it comes to pharmaceutical companies, laboratories and pharmacy dispensaries. The conspiracy theories and demonic agendas can go in many different directions but it has all brought us to what is being called the "New Normal".
"New Normal" sounds like a TV show with this whole pandemic being taken from a script. The "New Normal" for us means:
1. Continue to social distance (I was doing this before COVID).
2. Wear a Face Mask in public (it can get hot under there).
3. Wash your hands frequently (this should have been practiced before COVID).
4. Keep sanitizer and disinfectant wipes close by (reduces germs).
5. Be aware of objects you touch and where you place your objects.
These are some of the precautions that you can take during this time to decrease the risk factors but if it's airborne (that's another story). We are all in this together and don't know what the outcome will be. I encourage you to research and be well informed of what is going on in each of the pandemics that we are in as it relates to medical, spiritual and physical (racial). Do your own research (not just Google) and don't just rely on what is given to you as news. Always remember that GOD is what we need to be getting closer to as the center of our life because GOD shut down the world in one day but know he can save your soul for a lifetime!
